[opensuse-packaging] RPM_OPT_FLAGS, stripping, and debug_package in OpenSuSE 11.2
Just a quick question about the official 11.2 distribution packaging process: What is RPM_OPT_FLAGS set to when the official RPMs are built? I noticed that if I download gzip-1.3.12-100.4.src.rpm and do rpmbuild -ba I don't get stripped binaries, yet the officially released x86_64 rpms have stripped binaries. I also notice there is no %debug_package macro, yet there is a gzip-debuginfo rpm available. How are these built for the official opensuse release? Just curious. it is set to : grep Optflags /usr/lib/build/configs/sl11.2.conf

The build service generates them automatically when debuginfo is enabled per repository/project. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+help@opensuse.org
