[opensuse-packaging] driver fo webcams "gspcav1-kmp-default" package built against wrong kernel version
Hello After upgrade to the newest kernel 2.6.22.16, it is impossible to install driver for webcams "gspcav1-kmp-default" package available ...repositories/drivers:/webcam... , because it requires older kernel. Can anyone upgrade it? Thanks a lot for it. drivers:webcam should link against openSUSE:10.3:Update/standard and not openSUSE:10.3/standard. Then it will pick up the updated kernels automatically. Guys, please do. :/ Ciao, Marcus --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+help@opensuse.org

Can you please consider to build only for :Update instead for both ? I guess he was talking about 10.2 where both repos are built. Wolfgang --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+help@opensuse.org

I know. Was it a complaint against you? I didn't understand it that way but you have access to the repo to fix it ;-) Wolfgang --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+help@opensuse.org

I don't change it because others have added it and may have a valid reason for this that I don't know. Perhaps it would be better if you add Obsoletes: gspcav-kmp-*. Otherwise your system will have two gspca kernel modules and may not load up gspcav from gspcav1 package. -- Regards, Carlos Gonçalves
