[opensuse-packaging] systemd and sysv initscripts
I have migrated postgres to systemd. I think there should also sysv initscript exist for that service, too. Is there any recommentation/skeleton for that purpose? I have looked at http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Systemd_packaging_guidelines but there is no detailed information available. Fedora is using this script, which works nicely: http://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/gitweb/?p=postgresql.git;a=blob_plain;f=postgr... Just keep the old sysv initscript around for now.

Please don't do that, because it won't work for people running under sysvinit. Fedora can do it because they don't support sysvinit anymore. -- Frederic Crozat <fcrozat@suse.com> SUSE -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+owner@opensuse.org
