[opensuse-packaging] Building virtualbox host modules for a custom kernel
Hi, I am currently building my own kernel due to a patch I've yet to convince upstream to carry. My kernel is hosted on OBS, but I am only building it locally since I don't think it's fair to tie up the resources to build the kernel for a single person. I am also using virtualbox, but right now I can't install it since the kmp very quickly gets out of date compared to the kernel I'm building. What options are there to build the virtualbox host modules for a custom kernel, that is not published on OBS? You should be able to build it locally, using osc build -p to point the the locally built kernel packages. Thanks for the pointer, that worked! Robert -- http://robert.muntea.nu/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+owner@opensuse.org
