[opensuse-packaging] BuildRequires pkgconfig()?
Now that RPM provides automatically things like "pkgconfig(gtk+-2.0)"... should we use them explicitly? I mean change "BuildRequires: gtk2-devel" by "BuildRequires: pkgconfig(gtk+-2.0)". Not depending of package names would improve inter-distro compatibility, but would this be a good solution? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+help@opensuse.org

Yes, it's better. Unless you care about openSUSE 11.2 and earlier (where we don't have this). Vincent -- Les gens heureux ne sont pas pressés. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+help@opensuse.org
