[opensuse-packaging] "directories not owned by a package"
Hi, There are 49 packages that fail now because a check was temporarly disabled and is now reenabled. This check fails for example like this: fwzs-0.4-2.3.noarch.rpm: directories not owned by a package: - /usr/share/polkit-1 - /usr/share/polkit-1/actions Please fix these packages: devel:libraries:c_c++ Botan devel:openSUSE:Factory fwzs GNOME:Apps f-spot GNOME:Apps gedit-latex-plugin GNOME:Apps nautilus-terminal GNOME:Factory gnome-applets GNOME:Factory gnome-power-manager GNOME:Factory system-config-printer graphics blender KDE:Distro:Factory kde4-l10n KDE:Distro:Factory kdeedu4 KDE:Distro:Factory kde-susetranslations KDE:Distro:Factory koffice2-l10n KDE:KDE3 kbiff M17N wm-icons Mono:Factory monodevelop-java mozilla:Factory MozillaFirefox-branding-SLED network:ha-clustering:Factory hawk network sim Printing cups security tinyca2 Virtualization virt-viewer YaST:Web webyast-activedirectory-ui YaST:Web webyast-firewall-ui YaST:Web webyast-kerberos-ui YaST:Web webyast-ldap-ui YaST:Web webyast-licenses-ui YaST:Web webyast-mail-ui YaST:Web webyast-mail-ws YaST:Web webyast-network-ui YaST:Web webyast-permissions-ui YaST:Web webyast-reboot-ui YaST:Web webyast-roles-ui YaST:Web webyast-root-user-ui YaST:Web webyast-services-ui YaST:Web webyast-software-ui YaST:Web webyast-status-ui YaST:Web webyast-status-ws YaST:Web webyast-time-ui YaST:Web webyast-users-ui Greetings, Stephan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+help@opensuse.org

I'm not saying that it fails in KDE:KDE3, but that it fails in openSUSE:Factory. I just listed the devel projects for those packages. If you have a fix in KDE:KDE3 for that problem, then use osc vc to document it and submit it. It has not been changed for many months... Maybe it builds against a different Factory repository? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+help@opensuse.org

It also isn't submitted for many months, check the project status: http://is.gd/3No2vn Greetings, Stephan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+help@opensuse.org
Hi,
GNOME:Apps gedit-latex-plugin
The folders that are not owned on this package are owned by gedit2, the issue is that we don't have a Gedit2 anymore. I'm not sure on the best way to look into this, but this plugin needs to be updated to Gedit3 (work on progress according to [1]). Vincent, what's the best thing to do with this? We're waiting for its port to gedit 3, which is happening in git right now. Should be complete soon; we can possibly package a git version, if needed. When it happens I'll update it, in case you want a git version, let me know, I can do that as well. NM -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+help@opensuse.org
