[opensuse-packaging] Factory Status (2012/11/11)
I am going to change the approach a bit here. For packages failing for more than 14 days I am going to open bug reports and link them here. For the rest (7 to 14 days) I will continue as usual. That rises the question: - Just WHY does grub (1.xx) still reside in Factory? It should be removed already from Factory, replaced by "grup2", should it not? Still, as "trusted-grub" rises the same error, it could be worth to have a closer look at it. Would be a shame if the coming Milestone 2 could not be booted, ne? -- Yamaban. PS: Many thanks for the Status mails.

I hope not - at least as long as grub2 refuses to install bootloader on my main machine at home. Michal Kubeček -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+owner@opensuse.org

- python3-distribute openSUSE:Factory jimfunk Fails for 8 days: Installed (but unpackaged) file(s) found
It seems the latest update adds a semi-private lib, '_markerlib' to site_packages. I added this to %files.
- uwsgi server:http Fails for 27 days: broken erlang
Erlang was fixed by Sascha Peilicke (bnc#788027). Just waiting for the fix to propagate to Factory. -- James Oakley jfunk@funktronics.ca -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+owner@opensuse.org

- python3-numpy openSUSE:Factory Fails for 37 days: 'PyUnicodeObject' has no member named 'length
Seems to be an incompatibility with py3.3, but it also seems fixed in 1.7.0b2[0]. I'm not sure, but it shouldn't be long till a final release comes (it's already been a month and some of beta). In the meantime, I can: a) backport fixes b) push 1.7.0b2 to d:l:p b would be better if they release 1.7.0 before long, but I'm not 100% sure it'll happen given the remaining open bugs[1]. Just thought I'd mention in case someone else was thinking about working on it. [0] https://build.opensuse.org/project/monitor?project=home%3Aklaussfreire%3Abra... please manualy trigger python3-Sphinx rebuild, this issue fixed 2 weeks ago by patching python3-docutils, but Sphinx for some reason not rebuilt using fixed docutils -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+owner@opensuse.org

I will do my best. But yesterday night bugzilla wasn't very responsible. "Bad gateway" or something similar :-( -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+owner@opensuse.org

Shouldn't the automatic submit system have been triggered here? What failed?

I was actually thinking about using this opportunity for learning Python. But I didn't know about python-bugzilla. Thanks for the link.
