[opensuse-packaging] Netcdf (1.4.3) hdf5 (1.8.8) dependency
Hi, This is probably a simple thing that I cannot see due to my ignorance at packaging, but just updated the hdf5 to its 1.8.8 version and that broke netcdf 1.4.3, I get the following error: checking hdf5.h usability... no checking hdf5.h presence... no checking for hdf5.h... no configure: error: NetCDF-4 requires HDF5, but hdf5.h cannot be found. Although, hdf5.h exists and the hdf5-devel *does* install it. Also, I do know that netcdf 1.4.3 *is* compatibly with hdf5 1.8.8. Can anyone help my find where my mistake is? Just netcdf:
Filipe The best thing to find out what is going wrong would be to: - "osc build" on your own machine - once the error is reached, you can "osc chroot" and get in the build root, change to /home/abuild/rpmbuild/BUILD/* and check the content of config.log for specific errors related to this. Hope that helps. If not, just ask, and I'll try to walk with you through it (you can also find me on irc / freenode as dimstar) Dominique -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+owner@opensuse.org
