[opensuse-packaging] FTLibrary.h not in ftgl-devel

Hi list-mates, I'm trying to compile OpenCASCADE 6.5.0 and I'm getting ../../../src/OpenGl/OpenGl_FontMgr.cxx:4:23: fatal error: FTLibrary.h: No such file or directory compilation terminated. OpenCASCADE.spec has "BuildRequires: ftgl-devel." I have seen that that package doesn't provide FTLibrary.h. Is it a packaging bug? Thanks, -- Javier Llorente

Hi Javier, It is most likely a generated file. My guess would be to disable parallel build for that pack (OpenCASCADE) and see how it goes :) NM On Tue, Apr 26, 2011 at 12:32 AM, Javier Llorente <javier@opensuse.org> wrote:

OpenCASCADE explicitly requires ftgl 2.1.2 and openSUSE 11.4 ships 2.1.3-rc5 which doesn't have FTLibrary.h :-( BTW, when replying to a thread please reply below. This makes the thread easier to read :-) Ciao, -- Javier Llorente

It seems that FTLIbrary.h is not copied when building/installing ftgl 2.1.3- rc5. Possible solutions: using a svn version of ftgl (like Arch Linux does) or patching OpenCASCADE. More info here: http://www.opencascade.org/org/forum/thread_20128/ Greetings, -- Javier Llorente
