[opensuse-packaging] glm cleanup

Hi, There is a package called "glm" in "devel:libraries:c_c++" project (https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/devel:libraries:c_c++/glm), that I'm maintainer of. I just found out that this package is now developed at "science" project. So now I see no reason for it to exist in d:l:c project. I'd like to delete it, but there are some other packages linked to it. How should I handle this? Should I request deletion of them? Or maybe is there some magic that would allow to change them to link to "science" project? -- Adam Mizerski

There is no automatic rewriting mechanism that I know of. For devel:tools:scm/glm and electronics/glm, the only option is to delete the package if possible (since it is available in Factory in some version) or have the maintainers rewrite the _link file manually (SRs expand it and cannot be used last time I checked). One can ignore the links from the "home:" namespace, so then it is just rdelete c++/glm. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+owner@opensuse.org
