Hi, I wonder whether it would be feasible to use rpm macro expansion in baselibs.conf and per package rpmlintrc's. That would allow to use e.g. %suse_version in those files. Since expansion of an unknown macro is the macro itself there shouldn't be a problem with '%' characters in existing files. Does anyone know of a package that would break due to macro expansion? cu Ludwig -- (o_ Ludwig Nussel //\ V_/_ http://www.suse.de/ SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nuernberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+help@opensuse.org
