Hi, I build Citadel Groupware Server in a project (see: https://build.opensuse.org/package/show?package=citadel&project=home%3Ahomue...). And get warnings like: citadel-common.i586: W: non-standard-uid /etc/citadel citadel A file in this package is owned by an unregistered user id. Please contact citadel-common.i586: W: non-standard-gid /etc/citadel citadel A file in this package is owned by an unregistered group id. Please contact So, I would like to register the user and the group "citadel". Is that possible? Thank you and kind regards Stefan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+owner@opensuse.org

Looks like the "ask on opensuse-packaging" way doesn't work too good... Therefore I'd recommend the do-it-yourself way ;-) - branch the rpmlint package from devel:openSUSE:Factory:rpmlint rpmlint - do the needed changes in the "config" file [1] - and finally send a submit request ;-) Bonus points if you also change the message to say [...] To register the user/group, please branch the rpmlint package, add the user/group to the "config" file and send a submitrequest. ;-) Regards, Christian Boltz [1] here's the diff of a similar change: https://build.opensuse.org/package/rdiff?linkrev=base&package=rpmlint&projec... -- looks like you have some special code in yast for password "x", maybe I should use the even more secure new password "y" in the future ?! ;-) [Harald Koenig in https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=148464] -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+owner@opensuse.org
