I am not a programmer and fail with a new spec file :(.
The spec file isn't the problem but rather that the changes in the kernel between 2.6.24 and the current 2.6.27 are so substantial, that a kernel hacker would be needed to adapt the sources.
If someone would point me at the sources, I could work on this...

This repo builds just fine for me here, what is the problem that you are seeing when trying to build this code? And why is this driver not included in the main kernel tree. I see the comment, "This is a fork of a..."
