Thanks for your time and efforts! As soon as we get a gnucash together (also together with upstream) that works, the online update should not cause any problem. After all we would replace a non-working package with a working one... could there be a better argument? Unfortunately, it seems, this package still has some lacking features. The fact that a bunch of it is written in guile doesn't make it easier to debug.
