[opensuse-packaging] What to do about %{go_nostrip} on Leap?

Hi I'm packaging golang libraries and I realized that most of my stuff doesn't work leap, just on tumbleweed because of lack of %{go_nostrip}. Is there something I can do to conditionally apply that but at the same time, should I? I recall that stripping go executables is not safe.
