I am breaking part of the open-iscsi package for openSUSE:Factory into two new sub-packages: open-isns, and iscsiuio.
What do I have to do to get these two new sub-packages added to the list of packages that get delivered as part of the OS? I'm assuming just generating two new sets of RPMs will not mean that they are automatically available for installation.
I do this for the first time too, but I think this is the right place. For the DVD and and Net Install Images search here: https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/openSUSE:Factory/_product Here you can find some different *.group files where the packages are listed. For the Live CD search here: https://build.opensuse.org/project/show/openSUSE:Factory:Live Here you can find packages named: package-lists-gnome.i586 package-lists-gnome.x86_64 package-lists-kde.i586 package-lists-kde.x86_64 in the packages are files called "packagelist". Just fork the packages and change the values. Hope this helps. If this is incomplete or someone wants to complement something, do it ;) Kind Regards, Philipp -- Philipp Seiler Linux Consultant Tel.: +49-175 2958714 Mail: seiler@b1-systems.de GPG Key: 0x75911461 B1 Systems GmbH Osterfeldstraße 7 / 85088 Vohburg / http://www.b1-systems.de GF: Ralph Dehner / Unternehmenssitz: Vohburg / AG: Ingolstadt,HRB 3537
