[opensuse-packaging] how do i package a rubygem?

Hi, I'm trying to package a rubygem as rpm, but I have not that much experience with ruby... how do I proceed? The upstream site does not have much to say about packaging it, only about manual local installation (gem install $name)... Any hints welcomed!
