Hi,
https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Packaging_guidelines#Init_scripts is a bit outdated. I propose to replace the whole section with
--->8--- === Systemd Services ===
openSUSE uses systemd to start services. Detailed guidelines how to package service files are at [[openSUSE:Systemd_packaging_guidelines]].
--->8---
Consequently https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Packaging_init_scripts needs to gain some warning that the information is obsolete. Do we have some template for that?
In most places I think we use the "Warning" [1] Template at the top of the page with some info that's specific to why the page is now obsolete. See the MonoDevelop [2] page for an example 1. https://en.opensuse.org/Template:Warning 2. https://en.opensuse.org/MonoDevelop -- Simon Lees (Simotek) http://simotek.net Emergency Update Team keybase.io/simotek SUSE Linux Adelaide Australia, UTC+10:30 GPG Fingerprint: 5B87 DB9D 88DC F606 E489 CEC5 0922 C246 02F0 014B
