I am fine in taking the maintenance of this package over, but I do not have python knowledge so I can not solve bugs (unless packaging ones or simple ones:) ).

Can someone of the openSUSE packaging experts explain what must be done to make Raymond Wooninck the official maintainer of python-ReportLab for openSUSE?
