Hi, thanks, I did the gem2rpm thing (had to edit the gem2rpm script to use https, it did not like the redirect). Now building the rpm fails with a file not found... see home:lemmy04/rubygem-t I think the gem places the binary into /usr/bin/ as t.ruby2.1 but the rpm expects it as /usr/bin/t ... Any hints? cheers Mathias On 31.01.2017 10:16, Josef Reidinger wrote:

Hi,
I'm trying to package a rubygem as rpm, but I have not that much experience with ruby... how do I proceed?
The upstream site does not have much to say about packaging it, only about manual local installation (gem install $name)...
Any hints welcomed!
Cheers
Mathias
Please check dedicated page for packaging ruby https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Packaging_Ruby and if something is not clear, please ask, so we can improve it.
