I am using SuSE 9.0 with KDE. I have installed some new stuff so I can play most video formats, but I still have a problem with Konqueror. If I click on a video on the web, I am given the choice to open it or save it. If I open it, the Kaffeine window opens with the message "Error: No plugin found to handle this resource." If I save it, I can click on it and it Kaffeine plays it with no complaint. Please excuse my ignorance, but what plugin (or plugins) am I missing? And for what? Konqueror? Kaffeine? Xine? And where can I find it (them)? Tnx for your help, EEE

You are not missing anything, it's a bug (or at least a bad feature). Once you switch to KDE 3.2, that won't be a problem. But, as far as I can remember, you need to run kaffeine with --nofork option, or it was something like that. Check "kaffeine --help-kde" and "kaffeine --help" for more info. In Konqueror, go to Settings / Configure Konqueror / File Associations, and than change everything you use kaffeine for to start as "kaffeine --nofork" (I think that was the option, but I can't test it with KDE 3.2, check with help).
