Hello. How can I convert my music files ( .rm and mp3) in some formats for burning a audio-CD? Yuriy.

Yuriy.
Sorry I don't seem to be able to understand the question. Surely You can burn an mp3 audio cd without converting into any other file. It depends what sort of sound quality you are looking for! Can you be any more specific?

burn them with k3b and k3b will do the conversion for you, and I believe that xcdroast will also. I use the script below for mp3's (visit the url): #!/bin/bash # from http://www.fokus.gmd.de/linux/HOWTO/mini/MP3-CD-Burning/prepare.html # 04-14-2003 # paka added the underscore/space handling for i in *.mp3; do mv "$i" echo $i | tr ' ' '_'; done for i in *.mp3; do lame --decode $i basename $i .mp3.wav; done normalize -m *.wav -- Patrick Shanahan Registered Linux User #207535 http://wahoo.no-ip.org @ http://counter.li.org HOG # US1244711 Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/photos
