I am using Canon BJC-2000, Epson Stilyplus (color) 880 with SuSE 8. They are working properly with black ink. But they can not printing with color, so they printing always with black color. definitely not planning on printer is actually newer than SuSE 7.3. They can only include drivers for printers that exist at the time they finalize the versions for the distribution. Installing GimpPrint and Cups isn't really that hard to do, and once installed it works really well in my experience. Until about a month ago I would have even had 7.3 RPMs I could have sent you, but I am no 8.0 now and deleted all my old stuff.
