11.2, KDE3.5, K3B 2.pm - can't reuse DVD-RW
K3B.pm for 3.5 worked fine before I replaced 11.0 with 11.2. The only way I can get K3B 2.0.0 1.pm.2.11 in 11.2 to burn an ISO file to a -RW disk is to use a new one. Always reusing gives errors, even if forcing a format first. Last try: Writing DVD-RW in restricted overwrite mode Using Wodim 1.1.9 ... Starting Restricted Overwrite writing at 4x speed Unable to open new session Probably a problem with the medium I see no apparent help in /var/log. Suggestions from Googling a fix for this are all over the map. Should I just dump K3B4 for K3B3? Is there a simpler solution, maybe some setting other than the defaults, maybe sequential instead of restricted overwrite? BTW, using another machine booted to 11.2/K3B 2 fails exactly the same, while booted to 11.2/K3B-1.0.5-0.pm.7 works as expected with exactly the same source and destination media. -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive."
