Hi there, I've just bought a DSL-Router. The only Problem I have is: How can I deinstal the the (A-)DSL-Configuration; for I now want to use eth1 as a 'normal' ethernet interface. I did not work out, what to do, to uninstall it.... mhhhh.... Any suggestions? - Arndt
Ok, I finally found it in the sdb... -+ SuSE Linux >= 8.0 +- log in as root, and enter: rm /etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfg-dsl* this will delete the device configuration. you may want to delete all the provider information... then enter: rm /etc/sysconfig/network/providers/* if you have additional ISDN/modem providers all of them will be erased. if you just want to delete a specific, delete the appropriate in /etc/sysconfig/network/providers (Taken and translated from the german sdb - hopefully not to bad translated) I wonder why there is no way to use yast to disable a once created DSL config... - Arndt
