SuSE with a Sound Blaster Audigy Gamer and surround sound
Hi, I recently installed the current version of SuSE. I have a Sound Blaster Audigy Gamer for my sound card, and have it hooked up to the surround sound system in my room. It seems that I can only ever get one channel (front or back) depending on how I have the plugs in the sound card. The current configuration worked fine for surround in Windows, but seems to only give one channel with SuSE. I don't really need TRUE surround sound, I'd just like to be able to get sound out of all of the speakers at once. Has anyone else had a similar problem, or know of a way to make it work out? Thank you very much, Michael
