I wondered why this list was so quiet... and, after an e-mail saying that the list was a good one for answers, it occurred to me that the reason it is quiet is that hardly anyone is having sound problems. <LOL> So... if anyone is 'listening'... <G> I attempted a recording on all the different applications in SuSE8.2 Personal and got some really strange results. The recorded file contains a noise spike which occurs at a rate of approximately 1.25cps(+/-). If anyone else has experienced this, I would like to know how to solve it.
