an easy way is to add /etc/sysctl.conf. just add a line kernel.lowlatency=1 to this file. please refer to man sysctl and sysctl.conf for more details. ciao, Takashi

Hard to believe and I won't do it till you reply. (please understand my nervousness) I'm used to readme's and explicit instructions. Then I have a starting point for troubleshooting.
