well...
I will try to make most of my work with free software (it' much more easier for me, as I can make other work during compilations :-)
I have a nearly working 11.3 video showing inbstall. I wont go further, then, because 11.3 will soon become obsolete.
Im working on two direction, now:
* see if it's possible to use openqa.opensuse.org to have the install video. The answer is probably no. openqa try to make the video as short as possible (and 1mn is way too short to make a comment), and don't manage all langages.
* see if it's possible to stick recordmydesktop to the various VirtualBox windoiws sizes (or vice-versa), probably not good neither...
* try to make cinelerra work. It's not obvious. Seems good to use independant jpeg images for film (allow any trick), not exacltly what I need
so I will stay with kdenlive for now (and recordmyDesktop, and a video recorder)

Try blender-2.56 it's video editing is designed for creating animated movies but it's totally professional and has the most active development I have ever seen for a single package.
