jdd -cinelerra, very ancient, but was aimed to professional market and asket for a cluster of 100 computer the first time I met him (was named, I think, Broadcast2000 - you see the date). Very special interface. Seems well fitted for some works. However my old dualcore was still not enough for him, and in case it lack memory it just quit... I have to try it again with my new i5, but the learning curve is high. I am building beowolf cluster for my final year thesis tell me how many computer's do you need and maybe i can build one to run that program you mentioned before. I am also looking t build a thin client technology so maybe you can run that 100 cluster super computer software on my cluster :) I had a plan to make the cluster, plan to makd the remote login option, now you give me a real world application that requires it. Thank You So Much!! Stuart On Monday 14 Feb 2011 18:29:08 jdd wrote:
notice that I just worked on windows with Magix. I could do the two keyframe effects in a matter of minutes, but Magix could notn read the ogv file I had to insert (and I spent 2 hours without success installing codecs)
so why it's often, necessary to have two OS working...
that said having a working video editor was at some moment an open source priority, it should be... if I see how many are working on windows.
