I think that if you want a DVD drive to work, than either videocd or dvd format would work best. I use a combination of tovid, makexml, and dvdauthor for that purpose, and haven't had any problems yet. It will convert your file to the correct mpeg standard, create your DVD menu (can be very simple), and create the DVD structure. From there K3B should have no problem burning your DVD for you.

Thanks Pieter, The thing is, I want to make a CD (not a DVD) with the video. (Actually I don't have a dvd-burner, only cd and [because dvd's are not important to me] I'll wait with buying a new device until it's more clear what will be the new dvd-standard and prices come down...) So I need a way to bring that video into a format that can be burned on CD and read on almost every PC (and, but only if possible, on home-dvd-drives on TV). I know, there are "video-CD's" but I don't know how to make it and what codecs I have to use. Anyway, I don't care what format as long as people can easily look at it... Any hints?
