Hat jemand Erfahrungen mit "skype" unter SuSE 9.[012].
Habe ich problemlos unter 9.1 am laufen
Unter 9.1 funktioniert das Teil bei mir auch...
Ich habe weder mit 9.1 noch 9.2 erfolg gehabt. Ich habe sound mit alsconfig und auch mit YaST configuriert. Ich habe mehere Änderungen per Hand im /etc/modprob.d/sound gemacht. Ich habe artsd gekillt und auch neu gestartet. Ich habe als root und auch als user versucht. Und wenn ich meine Frau im neben Zimmer anruffe, klinglete es auch dort. Nur bei mir kein Sound.
Das hat dann aber mehr mit Deiner Soundkarte zu tun. Skype gibt den Sound auf /dev/dsp lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 4 2004-11-04 13:00 /dev/dsp -> dsp0 crw-rw-rw- 1 malcolm audio 14, 3 2004-10-02 10:38 /dev/dsp0 crw-rw-rw- 1 malcolm audio 14, 19 2004-10-02 10:38 /dev/dsp1 crw-rw-rw- 1 malcolm audio 14, 35 2004-10-02 10:38 /dev/dsp2 crw-rw-rw- 1 malcolm audio 14, 51 2004-10-02 10:38 /dev/dsp3
aus und dazu muss die Oss-Emulation von Alsa funktionieren. (Wenn Du die Alsa-Treiber verwendest)
Also: Welche Sound-Karte hast Du
Sound-Karte ist ein Creative-Soundblaster 16 (genaue Beschreibungen habe ich vergessen)
und poste auch mal was in /etc/modprob.d/sound so steht.
At the moment this: % cat /etc/modprob.d/sound # This sets up the ALSA and OSS portion alias char-major-116 snd alias char-major-14 soundcore # Original alias snd-card-0 snd-ens1371 alias sound-slot-0 snd-ens1371 # Configure the OSS emulation layer #alias sound-service-0-0 snd-mixer-oss #alias sound-service-0-1 snd-seq-oss #alias sound-service-0-3 snd-pcm-oss #alias sound-service-0-8 snd-seq-oss #alias sound-service-0-12 snd-pcm-oss #alias /dev/mixer snd-mixer-oss #alias /dev/dsp snd-pcm-oss #alias /dev/midi snd-seq-oss But I have tried this (and some more which didn't work --- by work I mean with other sound apps). % cat /etc/modprobe.d/sound # ALSA portion alias char-major-116* snd # OSS/Free portion alias char-major-14* soundcore # card #1 alias sound-service-0-0 snd-mixer-oss alias sound-service-0-1 snd-seq-oss alias sound-service-0-3 snd-pcm-oss alias sound-service-0-8 snd-seq-oss alias sound-service-0-12 snd-pcm-oss #install snd-card-0 /sbin/modprobe --ignore-install snd-card-0 && { /usr/sbin/alsactl restore >/dev/null 2>&1 || :; } #remove snd-card-0 { /usr/sbin/alsactl store >/dev/null 2>&1 || :; }; /sbin/modprobe -r --ignore-remove #install sound-slot-0 /sbin/modprobe --ignore-install sound-slot-0 && { /bin/aumix-minimal -f /etc/.aumixrc -L >/dev/null 2>&1 || :; } #remove sound-slot-0 { /bin/aumix-minimal -f /etc/.aumixrc -S >>/dev/null 2>&1 || :; }; /sbin/modprobe -r --ignore-remove options snd-ens1371 enable=1 index=0 # uniq.virtual:Ensoniq AudioPCI alias snd-card-0 snd-ens1371
