### aus /v/l/m: Oct 11 19:49:47 krypton kernel: pccard: CardBus card inserted into slot 0 Oct 11 19:49:47 krypton kernel: PCI: Enabling device 0000:03:00.0 (0000 -> 0003) Oct 11 19:49:47 krypton kernel: ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:03:00.0[A] -> Link [LNKB] -> GSI 10 (level, low) -> IRQ 10 Oct 11 19:49:47 krypton kernel: Probing IDE interface ide0... Kann mir jemand sagen, was ich nun weiter konfigurieren muss, dass der Adapter läuft? What has to be done that konqueror handles the device like e.g. USB-Sticks? The speed is around 4-5times higher than with my old PCMCIA-Adapter (400-1100kbyte/s compared to 1.9-2.4MB/s). Both with 100% CPU usage. Thats fine, but under Windows i can use it with 7,5MB/s and lower CPU usage. I cannot activate DMA-Mode [Operation not permitted] (or PIO-Mode [Function not implemented]). In the PCMCIA-Card the CF-Card is mounted as sdb, with the Lexar as hda. What can I do to make it a) consuming less CPU b) faster except setting it to DMA-Mode, which is not possible?
