Excuse me Mates, it was unclear. The normal LAN (with Cable) eth1 don't run. Then i've made my WLAN open (without WEP). The WLAN Chip (eth0) finds my Network, but he cant access. I've tried with WEP, but no connect too. The Chip is PRO/Wireless 2200BG (Calexico2) and openSUSE uses the right driver (ipw2200). -- Sincerely Yours Sascha Manns openSUSE Member open-slx GmbH openSUSE Ambassador openSUSE Community & Support Agent openSUSE Build Service Web: http://www.open-slx.de openSUSE Marketing Team Web: http://www.open-slx.com openSUSE Medical Team Maifeldstrasse 10 D-56 727 Mayen Phone: +49 2651 4014045 Email: Sascha.Manns@directbox.com Web: http://saschamanns.gulli.to Blog: http://saigkill.wordpress.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/saigkill ClaimID: http://claimid.com/saigkill -- Sincerely yours Sascha Manns open-slx GmbH openSUSE Member openSUSE Community & Support Agent openSUSE Ambassador Web: http://www.open-slx.de openSUSE Marketing Team Web: http://www.open-slx.com openSUSE Build Service openSUSE Medical Team Web: http://saschamanns.gulli.to Blog: http://saigkill.wordpress.com ClaimID: http://claimid.com/saigkill -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-mobile+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-mobile+help@opensuse.org

Did you also install the firmware package for that chip ( ipw-firmware) ? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-mobile+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-mobile+help@opensuse.org

yes if the wlan chip finds the network, the firmware must be installed and working
Hi, Am Sonntag, 13. Dezember 2009 schrieb Sascha 'saigkill' Manns: properly. Did you try to ping your router itself? Maybe you have to set route and dns manually (because of a known 11.2 bug) for the first time, update the network manager and reinsert your connection data... You can find some discussion about that in the opensuse.de mailing list... Hello, you can find more information in the article Tracking down wireless problems [1]. If the problem persists would it be possible to file a bug report ?
