Hello, Excuse the somewhat odd question, but I'm a HP 2133 owner with a non-SLED model, looking to put Gentoo (or maybe openSUSE) on it. I was wondering if anyone could provide suitable configs for the notebook, preferrably the ones developed for the official support as released by HP, but whatever works. :) I'm guessing kernel and xorg.conf are the major ones, but whatever I can be pointed towards would be great. Thanks, Brian -- Brian S. Stephan - http://emptymatter.org/
Hi Brian, Seeing that, apparently, nobody has responed, I will try to give you a generic response: why don't you try to install opensuse directly? Opensuse will detect and create the necesary configs for you: for xorg.conf, if you don't like the result, you can always rerun sax2. Hope tghis helps!
