Netzproblem nach suspend to disk
Hallo Genossen, habe Suse 9.1 auf einem IBM R40. Meistens funktioniert Suspend to Disk - aber nicht immer. Nun häuft es sich, dass nach dem "aufwachen" das Netz nicht mehr richtig funktioniert. Hi, ich hatte so eine ähnliche Fehlermeldung. Auch irq 11: nobody cared! ... aber ansonsten war es ein problem mit dem USB und WLan ... bei mir hat nur eine Kernelupdate geholfen ... mit dem 2.6.7 funktioniert es prima ... Also Suspend to Disk habe ich noch nie probiert ... wie aktiviere ich das? Woher weiss ich ob der beim schliessen des Deckels nicht nur das Display abschaltet? Schöne Grüße OLI Am Montag, 16. In "/etc/powersave.conf" "POWERSAVED_DISABLE_USER_SUSPEND" auf no setzen.
Woher weiss ich ob der beim schliessen des Deckels nicht nur das Display abschaltet?
In dem du einstellt was passieren soll wenn du den Deckel schließt. In "/etc/sysconfig/powersave/common" musst du bei "POWERSAVE_EVENT_BUTTON_LID_CLOSED" einstellen was passieren soll. Gruß Christoph

Richtig. Allerdings würde ich nicht unbedingt "suspend" als Aktion für LID_CLOSED eintragen, da der suspend doch Zeitaufwändig sein kann. Du kannst dann auch mit "powersave --suspend" oder Rechtsklick auf kpowersave den suspend einleiten. -- Stefan Seyfried

wo kriegt man denn das Update her? Ist kein You - Suse-Kernelupdate, oder? Ist es nicht riskant, einen nicht angepassten Kernel zu nehmen? Gruß Frank
