Hi List Thanks for the tip, it worked also for me on a DELL 9500 with SUSE 9.1 The problem I have is the one key, the Pause - Play key is not recognized. Also xev is just silent if i press this key, where it is delivering the correct keycodes for the other keys. Does someone has a solution on this issue? Thanks

I think you might need to play with the keycodes/xfree86 and/or symbols/inet from /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb. I had to do something like this ages ago to make my dell x200 work :) Cheers, Laur
