Das mit der Installation sollte kein Problem sein. Ich habe ein Armada M300 (hat auch kein CD-ROM, nur paralleles Floppy). Läuft wunderbar mit SuSE 7.3.

Ich habe 2 Stück Compaq-Armada kostenlos zu bastelzwecken erhalten und gedenke, auf einem dieser uralt Notebooks einen Router/Firewall aufzusetzen. (Ein wenig Spielerei muß ja auch mal sein ;) )

Das ganze Teil hat eine 1GB Platte intus, (welches für ein minimalst-System durchaus ausreichend ist) 2 PCMCI-Slots für die Netzwerkkarten, Tastatus & Sisplay sind zwar alt, aber noch benutzbar ... für den Anfang.

Das einzige Problem, was ich habe ... kein CD-Rom!

Da gibt es ja fli4l ... aber haben die auch Treiber für die PCMCIA-Slots?

Was sagt ihr zu meinem Problem? Lohnt sich sich das ganze eigentlich?
