SuSE Linux 8.0 und Sony Vaio FX805/FX705 Sound
Hallo, hat jemand Erfahrung, den Soundchip des Sony Vaio FX805 zum laufen zu bringen??? Es müsste meines Wissens der Gleiche wie im FX705 sein. Danke. Gruß Patrick Flaig
Hallo, ich kann hier nur vom FX-502 sprechen. Da die FX-Serie größtenteils gleiche oder ähnliche Mainboards/Chipsätze verwendet, bestehen Chancen, dass das bei Dir dasselbe Problem ist. Unter SuSE (7.x/8.0) friert das Vaio ein, wenn der Yast2 versucht die Soundkarte zu installieren. Scheint ein Problem mit der von SuSE verwendeten alsa-Version zu sein, da alsa generell den Chip unterstützt und es Berichte gibt, dass das unter anderen Distris (Mandrake/Debian) funktioniert. Alternativ funktioniert allerdings der gute alte Kernel-Treiber (via82cxxx_audio) recht gut. Ich würde mal probieren, ob der sich mit modprobe laden läßt und dann Ton kommt. (Und vielleicht mit [Fn]-[F4] den Lautsprecher auf Lautstärke bringen) Vielleicht hat sich das auch mit der 8.1 jetzt endlich erledigt. Die folgenden Links beschäftigen sich reletiv intensiv mit Linux auf der FX-500-Serie.
