AW: [suse-laptop] Bootsektor kann nicht geschrieben werden
Also ich hatte vorher Windows XP auf dem Notebook drauf mit verschlüsseltem Dateisystem über SafeGuard Easy. Das habe ich aber vorher deinstalliert und dann Suse installiert.

dies von dir beschriebene Problem hatte ich auch mal. Es trat aber erst auf nach den ich Windows 2000 installiert hatte. Danach könnte ich den Bootsektor auch nicht neu schreiben. Kurze Zeit später ist die Festplatte kaputt gegangen. Wenn du herraus gefunden hast wie man das Problem löst würde ich es auch gerne wissen.

ich bekomme bei meiner Neuinstallation von Suse 8 immer die Meldung das der Bootsektor nicht geschrieben wurde. Leider kann ich ihn auch nicht nachträglich über den Befehl "lilo -r ..." über das Resue System schreiben. Ich bekomme dann immer folgende Aussage :

kann jemand etwas damit anfangen und mir helfen ? (Im Bios gibt es keine Antivirus Funktion die den Bootsektor schützt - das hab ich schon nachgesehen) (hab die platte auch schon mal über " dd " komplett gelöscht -- hat auch nix geholfen)
