wieso funzt ACPI bei der 9.0er nicht auf dem thinkpad? Bzw. was kann man tun damit es wieder funzt?
wie hast Du festgestellt, dass es nicht funtkioniert? In /var/log/messages steht zwar viel drinnen, aber gerade bei den SuSE Kernel, die eigentlich fur viele Plattformen generisch gebaut werden (mussen), kann es sein, dass das eine oder andere nicht gefunden wird, so wie bei Dir. Heisst aber nicht, dass es nicht geht. Meckert acpid oder cpufreqd?

Solltest Du experimentierfreudig sein, dann probier es mal mit dem aktuellen Mantel-Kernel (http://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/suse/people/mantel/next/RPM/). IBM ist Schuld: http://www-3.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-45771 (nicht das neuste update, bitte sucht selber ...) Der selbe Fehler auf einem R32 http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=0&uid=psg1MIGR-50853&loc=en_US Bitte erst nach Bios updates suchen ... Danach sollte ACPI deutlich besser laufen ...
