Desktop auf LCD Panel und externem Monitor Howto gesucht
Hi, ich such nach einer Möglichkeit wie ich auf meinem Notebook mit einer ATI Radeon Mobility 9600 meinen Desktop sowohl auf das interne LCD Panel, als auch auf einen externen Monitor zu haben. Viele :) - Google findet zu "xorg radeon dualhead" über 9000 Treffer...
Die man pages zur xorg.conf und dem radeon-Treiber sollten gute
Anhaltspunkte liefern.
Anbei meine xorg.conf mit der ich hier auf meinem Thinkpad T42 (Radeon
Mobility 9600) arbeite - das interne Panel läuft auf 1400x1050, der
externe Samsung Syncmaster 920T mit 1280x1024. Das ganze mit Xinerama,
so daß der Desktop sich über beide Screens verteilt. Vielleicht hilft
das schonmal als Ansatzpunkt.

Auf einem Thinkpad R51 mit Intel 855GM Grafik Chipsatz habe ich, unabhängig von Deiner xorg.conf das Problem, daß über den VGA Ausgang kein Signal am Monitor (Thinkvision L190) anzukommen scheint.
