hi all, there's suse7.0 and kde2 running on my nice vaio. but i unfortunately have problems with the sound. yast2 detects the yamaha-soundcard and i also can listen to the test-sound. BUT: the testsound is played with loops and permanantly interrupted. it's terrible! it sounds like a scratched record and the playback of the testsound needs almost 40 seconds. if i try to play mp3s i even can't guess what song it is. before i start installing patches or even try manipulating conf-files (that means crashing my whole installation, if i would do that;-) ), does anyone have ideas how i can fix this tiresome problem? thanks in advance! -floh-
