Hallo, mal eine Frage bezüglich des xntpd: Ich hätte es ja eigentlich gerne, dass die Synchronisation der Rechnerzeit nicht regelmässig, wie xntpd das vorsieht, geschieht, sondern z.B. nur einmalig (manuell) zum Systemstart. Bisher hab ich zwar so einiges über das NTP gelesen, wie genau ich aber das Abfrageintervall des xntpd anders einstellen kann oder nur einmalig manuell die Zeit abfrage, hab ich nicht rausbekommen. Also meine konkreten Fragen: - wie kann ich eine einmalige Anfrage an einen Timeserver schicken? - wie kann ich z.B. den xntpd veranlassen, nur einmal die Woche, den Monat aktiv zu werden? Ich realisiere es mit netdate beim Aufbau einer Verbindung ins Internet. Also z.B. ins ip-up-Script "netdate time.atnet.at und hwclock -w" geben oder einen cronjob definieren oder mit leafnode verbinden, usw. netdate soll zwar manchmal problematisch sein, aber für mich reicht es. Mit xntpd hatte ich irgendwelche drastischen Probleme, an die ich mich nicht mehr genau erinnere. Albert
