Hallo Dirk Ich hatte das selbe Provblem mit meinem Insprion 8000 und ab SuSE 7.2 bis und mir SuSE 8.0. Meine Wirelesskarte ist eien ELAS Airlancer MC11 und lief auch mit wlan-ng, nun aber mir orinoco. Mit SuSE 8.1 läuft alles wieder stabil. Gruss Dieter P.S. nur kann ich sie nicht mit iwconfig konfigurieren. Ich kann zwar z.B. Mode und Nickname setzen, aber nicht die ESSID. Hier ist die Ausgabe von iwconfig eth1 (iwconfig allein zeigt das device nicht)

In den /var/log/messages fuehrt dies dann immer zu folgender Fehlermeldung kernel: eth1: Channel out of range (0)!

Ich weiss nicht, ob es was damit zu tun hat, aber wenn ich PCMCIA abschalte:
