The features of the note book are: HP Omnibook 6000 ---------------- Features: Pentium III, 700 MHz, Memory 128 MB, 14.1 inch XGA TFT display, ATI Mobility M1 3D graphics controller, with 2X AGP and four or eight Mbytes of internal video RAM Hard disk 12 GB, floppy hot swappable with 6x DVD-ROM or 2nd battery 16 bit Sound Blaster Pro compatible, Integrated Modem 56 kbps, Ethernet 10/100 integrated with modem on Mini-PCI type IIIS card, pointing stick and touchpad Juergen Kielmann
Hi Juergen: Your setup sounds much alike my Dell Inspiron 7500. However, you didn't say which kind of PCMCIA controller is used.
From the graphics controller I can tell you it runs beautifully with the standard settings of 6.4
