partitions not detected
Hi,
as everyone here seems to write in english now, I'm gonna do so, too.
I wanted to install Suse 10, but when it came to partitioning my
disk-partitions were not detected. I still have Suse 9.3 and Win on my
system and want to keep them as it is. I don't want to format my whole
disk or something. I got a free partition where I wanted to install Suse 10.
I can change to another terminal and mount all my harddisk-partitions no
problem, but during the installation process they are not detected. I
don't want to enter the whole partition-table by hand because I think
that's not gonna work properly.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
JAN

Well, the laptop list is available only in German, so I guess some people like me who have SuSE on a laptop and who can understand (some) German subscribe to it. You may reach somewhat larger audience by writing in English, but you don't have to (of course). And I'm quite sure nobody wants to read my replies if I write in German ;-) even if trying would be more polite on a German speaking list. I think and hope that people who write in English are not trying to change the language of the list, but only want to save the readers. Grüss, Teemu
