Hallo Liste, ich habe hier ein BenQ S72, welches unter SuSE 10.0 mit allen YastOnlineUpdates (ohne Packman) heute frisch installiert ist und nach wie vor keinen Ton von sich gibt. Vor der heutigen Neuinstallation habe ich bereits diverse Versuche unternommen dem System einen Ton zu entlocken. - als Kernelparameter irqpoll übergeben damit ich die Netzwerkkarten (ifplugd) nutzen kann. Netzwerk läuft super inkl. WPA_PSK. --> kein Ton. Diesen Paramter habe ich jetzt natürlich auch wieder benutzt. - alsaconf --> Karte erkannt, keine Auffälligkeiten, aber auch kein Ton - Packman --> keine Auffälligkeiten, aber auch kein Ton - KDE 3.5 --> keine Auffälligkeiten, aber auch kein Ton - kernel 2.6.15.3 von kernel.org mit .config aus aktuellem SuSE Kernel --> keine Auffälligkeiten, aber auch kein Ton - OpenSoundSystem --> Karte erkannt, keine Auffälligkeiten, aber auch kein Ton - und diverse andere Tests aus Netzrecherchen --> kein Ton Yast richtet die Karte natürlich ordnungsgemäß ein aller Regler sind voll aufgezogen, aber das NB schweigt. Nur der Lüfter säuselt vor sich hin. Unter XP und Knoppix 4.02 DVD läuft der Sound natürlich auch. Bei Knoppix habe ich mal geschaut wo die Unterschiede sind. Mir ist aufgefallen, daß die Soundkarte als Intel ICH4 erkannt wird und mit dem Treiber i810_sound läuft. Alle versuche mit diesem Treiber unter SuSE schlugen bislang fehl. Wenn ich den Treiber i810_sound lade und anschließend snd_intel8x0 entlade ist auch das Sounddevice nicht mehr erreichbar. Vielleicht bin ich auch nur zu blöde? Ans Ende habe ich mal alle mögliche Ausgaben kopiert. lspci hwinfo --sound lsmod | grep snd_ und aplay -vv /opt/kde3/share/sounds/KDE_Window_Maximize.wav Die Datei /var/log/messages ist sauber. Das habe ich nocheinmal kontrolliert, auch zu einem Desktoprechner. Alles in Ordnung. Bei Mute ist das Icon in der Kontrollleiste übrigens durchgestrichen - dies war jedoch nicht der Fall.

Schade, das waere eine einfache Loesung gewesen. Wobei ich bei der Anzeige in der Kontrollleiste immer nicht weiss, ob sich die nur auf Master bezieht. Ich glaube aber schon, d.h. wenn da die Lautstaerke gescheit aussieht und kein "stumm" signalisiert wird, kann immer noch ein relevanter Kanal (z.B. PCM oder CD) auf Null stehen und/oder stumm geschaltet sein. Aber das hast Du ja schon getestet, nur so als Anmerkung.

Ich weiss immer nicht, wie man die Settings deuten soll, wenn der "Kanal" eher nach einer Einstellung aussieht, statt nach einer echten Soundquelle. Hier vielleicht mal auf 'off' stellen, sonst denkt er vielleicht, es kommt noch ein externer Verstaerker und deswegen ist das Ausgangssignal zu gering.

Und letzteres Kommando gibt keinen Fehler? Wenn dem so ist, wuerde ich wirklich auf "mute" tippen.

Gut, auch wenn Du weisst, dass Du keine Surround-Boxen hast, hier ist noch ein Kanal, der komplett aus ist. Vielleicht bringt das ja was, hier dran zu drehen. Ist aber schon fast "wildes Raten".
Habe ich in alsamixer probiert. Kanal lässt sich mit "m" öffnen. Die Lautstärke kann aber nicht erhöht werden - bleibt also bei 0% stehen.

Der Soundcheck in Yast bleibt, obwohl in der Grundkonfiguration alles auf 100% stand, auch stumm. Es gibt keine Systemklänge, kein Ton bei WAV, MP3, OGG und bei der CD Wiedergabe bleibt auch alles stumm. Alle Wiedergaben laufen anstandslos - nur hören kann man nichts. Sind vielleicht noch Macken in Bezug auf ALSA oder Soundcard Intel ICH6 oder Soundchip Analog Device AD1980 bekannt? Wie kann ich in Yast (oder anderswo) einen anderen Soundtreiber für die erkannte Soundkarte wählen? Gruß Jean

Hallo, ich hatte auch das Problem, und jetzt zumindest die Ursache gefunden: für die System-Nachrichten sind meistens .ogg-dateien, und die werden nicht abgespielt (aber er tat es vorher...). Wav-Dateien werden abgespielt, da geht der sound. Ich habe verm.mal was am system gedreht, wshalb es jetzt keine ogg-dateein mehr abspielt, aber was??libogg und vorbis-tools sind installiert, libvorbis und kde multimediatool 3 auch, wer kann mir sagen woran es noch liegen kann dass keinn ogg abgespielt werden?? Hallo Liste,
ich habe hier ein BenQ S72, welches unter SuSE 10.0 mit allen YastOnlineUpdates (ohne Packman) heute frisch installiert ist und nach wie vor keinen Ton von sich gibt.
Vor der heutigen Neuinstallation habe ich bereits diverse Versuche unternommen dem System einen Ton zu entlocken.
- als Kernelparameter irqpoll übergeben damit ich die Netzwerkkarten (ifplugd) nutzen kann. Netzwerk läuft super inkl. WPA_PSK. --> kein Ton. Diesen Paramter habe ich jetzt natürlich auch wieder benutzt. - alsaconf --> Karte erkannt, keine Auffälligkeiten, aber auch kein Ton - Packman --> keine Auffälligkeiten, aber auch kein Ton - KDE 3.5 --> keine Auffälligkeiten, aber auch kein Ton - kernel 2.6.15.3 von kernel.org mit .config aus aktuellem SuSE Kernel --> keine Auffälligkeiten, aber auch kein Ton - OpenSoundSystem --> Karte erkannt, keine Auffälligkeiten, aber auch kein Ton - und diverse andere Tests aus Netzrecherchen --> kein Ton
Yast richtet die Karte natürlich ordnungsgemäß ein aller Regler sind voll aufgezogen, aber das NB schweigt. Nur der Lüfter säuselt vor sich hin.
Unter XP und Knoppix 4.02 DVD läuft der Sound natürlich auch. Bei Knoppix habe ich mal geschaut wo die Unterschiede sind. Mir ist aufgefallen, daß die Soundkarte als Intel ICH4 erkannt wird und mit dem Treiber i810_sound läuft. Alle versuche mit diesem Treiber unter SuSE schlugen bislang fehl. Wenn ich den Treiber i810_sound lade und anschließend snd_intel8x0 entlade ist auch das Sounddevice nicht mehr erreichbar. Vielleicht bin ich auch nur zu blöde?
Hallo Jean, das Thema hatten wir hier gerade. Bei meinem Medion NB Jahrgang 2000 hab ich auch das Problem mit dem Sound. Ich hab nen Maestro3 Chip. Ein rcalsasound restart hilft bei mir. Es scheint noch ein Bug zu sein. Gruß Lutz
