Hej list,
anyone out there using ati radeon mobility 9000 in 1400x1050 resolution?
Well, not a Mobility 9000 but a Mobility 7500 in 1400x1050
if so, what is the correct ModeLine for XF86Config?
The modelines specified in my XF86Config are: Section "Modes" Identifier "Modes[0]" Modeline "1400x1050" 123.94 1400 1416 1704 1816 1050 1050 1060 1097 Modeline "1400x1050" 148.73 1400 1416 1704 1816 1050 1050 1062 1097 EndSection But /var/log/XFree86.0.log says that the actual modeline used is determined by DDC probing: (II) RADEON(0): Supported Future Video Modes: (II) RADEON(0): #0: hsize: 1400 vsize 1050 refresh: 60 vid: 16528 (II) RADEON(0): Supported additional Video Mode: (II) RADEON(0): clock: 108.0 MHz Image Size: 48 x 228 mm (II) RADEON(0): h_active: 1400 h_sync: 1448 h_sync_end 1560 h_blank_end 1640 h _border: 0 (II) RADEON(0): v_active: 1050 v_sync: 1051 v_sync_end 1054 v_blanking: 1065 v _border: 0 I am using the standard radeon driver from XFree86 4.2.0 but that driver does not support the Mobility 9000.
cheers,
