Since kernel 2.4.14 you can use the provided code in the kernel distribution, but if you use and older version you have to recompile the `pcmcia-cs' package from the latest source release and to get the correct patch for you kernel from the PCMCIA developing site at http://sourceforge.net/projects/pcmcia-cs/.
